After the break up of his band the Scud Mountain Boys, Joe Pernice formed the Pernice Brothers with his brother Bob. Together they have released eight studio albums, plus one official live record. Their debut LP Overcome By Happiness was released on Sub Pop in 1998, after which Joe and manager Joyce Linehan set up their own label Ashmont Records. Their latest and seventh studio album Goodbye Killer was released in June 2010, their first since 2006's Live A Little.
